Young Drunk Sluts would be an awesome name for a band.

Kudos to the people who organized Capture the Flag last night. It was a noble endeavour.

Someone needs to invent a time machine ASAP.

I actually just mispelled “machine” as “mention”. Then I realized that I was retarded, so I fixed it.

Don’t rush things.

Drum and bass is life.

Be yourself.

The only reason I still work at Chapters is because I love the people that I work with (and the extra money is pretty sweet). But my new job at York is the best I’ve ever had.

As of now: Amazing = Mazin. For example, “Dude, Young Drunk Sluts are mazin!” You heard it here first.

SNL is hilarious.

If I could describe this past year in one word, it would be “zombie”. My slight interest in zombies over the years just suddenly exploded into a major obsession. Too bad vampires are the “in” thing. Vampires are gay now. Whatever happened to Anne Rice-type vampires? Interview With a Vampire was mazin.

I stop the alphabet at S and got it down to a T.

I’ve been listening a lot of music lately, but the one album that gets played the most is Eminem’s Infinite (which he released before he was discovered by Dr. Dre and became famous). Em wrote some really deep and inspirational lyrics for this album, and I really enjoy listening to the positive message which underlies Infinite:

It’s a broke day but everything is ok
I’m up all night, but everything is alright

or

No matter wherever you are, you’re never too far
From revenue star, cause you can be king
You can rule the world, you can do anything

It’s a shame knowing that shortly after releasing his debut album, Eminem attempted suicide, had a divorce, got addicted to hard drugs, fell out with his mom, went to rehab, and started to release tracks about killing people. But he also became filthy rich after Dre found him.

Anyway, when I find the time, I’ll write a film review about Paranormal Activity. Everything is school, school, school.

Infinite.

I’m trying to practice self-control; I want to conquer my mind. For a long time, I’ve been divided. Multiple personalities took turns driving, and my true self was pushed aside (but once in a while, I’d take control and act). As Lincoln said, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” There’s a civil war, and I’m engaged in battle against my enemies: laziness & insecurity. But my victory is inevitable – the world is mine.

I miss Europe.

There I go, looking back into the past again. The only thing important right now is where I’m going.

New beginnings.

For me, getting a new blog is always exciting. Unlike getting a new video game, I don’t get bored of writing. Sometimes (read: lately), I may ignore the urge to write, but I know – deep down – that doing so has a negative effect on my being. Writing is a part of who I am, so if I ignore that, then I’m really just ignoring myself.

I’ve got to stop doing that, eh?

So, expect regular updates, until I either get married or die. I’ll try not to die.
